Why is it so important to self-heal?
“God/Goddess, Source, Creator (whoever resonates for you) gave you these amazing gifts. You can heal and you can hear and see at level that most can not. Why would God/Goddess, Source, Creator give you that if it were meant to be hidden?”
I take an example of a few known blocks (people pleasing, good enough, comparisonitis) and describe how these messages that go on for years can actually contribute to our wellness. Or better put, illness.
A few top points that I speak about in this particular episode:
self-destructive thinking and how it affects us in our lives and bodies.
In childhood we learned through shame and behavioral correction. This is a generational learning passed on that continues ancestral wounds not healed.
It is my belief that all Empaths have one common missions and that is to heal the old ancestral wounds (blocks, limiting beliefs) in each of our families.
self-healing will unlock these old beliefs.
self-healing can contribute to more people through sharing our stories (like this podcast).
You have to want it first.
How to start?
I offer a pathway that can get you started to self-healing. I highly recommend a lot of space, love, and patience with yourself throughout this process.
Steps to your own self healing:
Commitment to change. When you are ready to make these changes and start to heal, the first place to start is making a commitment and Owning all that lives in your body. This means taking responsibility. You held on to these beliefs because you were afraid. As long as you hold onto them, you are still giving them power, no matter where you learned them.
Awareness. Start learning what thoughts that are there that are taking energy away from you. You are commanding your own self agency and power back to you but you must be aware of what is there that gets in your way.
Forgiveness. “I forgive myself that I believed that I was not worthy. And now I release these thoughts from me.” Forgiveness is an act of love. This is telling you and your body that you love it completely. This is a great time to make a ritual of honoring who you are! Really cherishing who you are. And forgiving your parents, teachers, all the people you learned these beliefs from. We all are doing our best in this world.
Boundary setting. It is a powerful way to protect your space & to stand in your own sovereignty. This is you saying to the world, “This is who I am and I love her as she is!” so you can stay in your loving thoughts & new empowering beliefs. Society will not totally love this, because we were all trained to be in a “box” of sameness. Some people will fight your changes because they don’t feel empowered to be their true self and others who will be inspired.
I would really love to hear how this episode lands for you. Share with me in the comments! <3
